Our Corporate functions are critical to our daily operations and future success. They’re made up of a diverse team of experts working across Company Secretariat, Finance, Group Systems, HR, Marketing and Operations.

How we work

Bringing together a broad range of industry insight, skill and talent, each of our Corporate functions relies on close and collaborative working at every level.

  • Group Secretariat

    The Group Secretariat function comprises of a number of specialisms – each supplying essential expertise and guidance to daily activity.

    It enables us to meet statutory and governance obligations. Advising on legislative, regulatory and corporate governance developments, it provides quick, high-quality support that impacts almost everything we do.

    Our Employee Taxes & Share Plans department communicates with everyone in the firm. Managing income, rewards, tax affairs and employee interests, they deliver a truly personal service. Group Legal works closely with our Consultants, providing the necessary support to win work and drive high-profile projects and commercial activity worldwide. While Internal Audit protects our interests throughout the firm, conducting regular audits to monitor our processes, policies and controls – and identify the most efficient ways for us to improve and grow.   

  • Group Systems

    Group Systems provide the key internal support that keeps our international network connected. Supplying our people with essential equipment, software and IT expertise, our team deliver a first-class service throughout the business.

    People in this function manage high volumes of requests effectively and securely. It’s a role that relies on quick response and technical skill. And it ensures the effective function of the firm, every day.

    If you join Group Systems, you’ll bring your broad knowledge and practical problem solving to ensure smooth operations in every part of our firm. You’ll offer stability and security to everything we do.


  • Finance

    Finance plays a key role in our success, both strategically and tactically. Providing insightful information that helps Consulting colleagues win and execute profitable business, the diverse team also safeguards our assets through rigorous financial control.

    Following the Carlyle investment, we’ve been fully focused on stimulating growth – and our Finance team play an integral part in that. Managing our annual consulting fees of around £400 million, the broad network of teams also handle key responsibilities including commercial business partnering, tax, treasury, planning and analysis, financial accounting, procurement and transaction processing. And they do it on an international scale.

  • HR

    HR is involved in every matter that concerns our people. Providing strategic, operational and transactional support in all areas of the firm, our friendly team attracts, develops and helps to retain our employees, whilst taking responsibility for managing their ongoing relationship with us.

    It’s a department that operates in a number of key capacities. Our HR Business Partners drive our People agenda forward within each of our sectors, services and geographies, and provide strategic support to the firm. Our Talent and Learning team own the development of our people. They continually push the boundaries of learning within the firm, enabling the business to build and share knowledge and capability at every level through the PA Academy. Talent Acquisition are the driving force behind how we find and attract the brightest and the best talent to join us to move the business forward in our growth. While the Reward team manage our benefits package to ensure that we’re fairly benchmarked in the market. HR Shared Services provide transactional support across all these areas and maintain a consistent service to the wider business.

    By joining our HR team, you’ll take ownership of a busy, varied role that allows you to work collaboratively in every part of the firm. You’ll define and maintain our pipeline of bright talent, and develop the people who will drive our future success.

  • Operations

    Operations and Administration deliver the specialist services that keep us moving. Offering a wide range of support, they provide information and essential management across a number of areas including Operations, Travel and Real Estate.

    Taking responsibility for a range of services, the Operations team provides essential policy guidance, ensuring that all of our people and activities are in line with appropriate legislation. As a global firm, this Function also manages our international travel – building strong relationships and sourcing the lowest costs to get the very best deals for the firm. Alongside this, our Real Estate team addresses all our office accommodation needs business-wide.

    Managing all moves, changes, budgets, Environmental and Health & Safety responsibilities, it’s a role that impacts every employee.

    By joining our Operations and Administration team, you’ll work closely with every area of the firm. Supported by a friendly, hard-working team, you’ll have a flexible, varied role that makes a real difference, and impacts every employee’s day-to-day experience.


  • Marketing

    Marketing is responsible for how PA sets itself apart from others, and wins, in the competitive consulting market. By pinpointing the needs of our clients, our team of strategists and marketing channel specialists collaborate with our Consulting colleagues to develop tailored propositions, cutting-edge thought leadership and eye-catching campaigns that drive top-line revenues and the growth of the firm.

    Our talented marketing team highlights our believe in the power of ingenuity to build a positive human future in a technology driven world at an industry, function and country level. Whether launching a new service, supporting a proposal or strengthening existing client relationships, our team plays an important role in sharing the best of PA in the most relevant, striking way.
